Gravity @ Santos Kicks off July 1st

THE BROOKLYN BOUNCE started in 2006 and has been constantly growing. In an effort to make sure that music loving Brooklynites had a place to go on home base, Dhundee and Stimulus combined forces to create the BK Bounce. In 3 years, The Brooklyn Bounce has become known as a place where people can connect and dance to classics from an array of genres while being exposed to the latest and greatest. The music formula now attracts a steady stream of fans from all 5 boroughs as well as out-of-towners from other states and countries. The Brooklyn Bounce has played host to DJ luminaries Waajeed, J Period, Ge-Ology & Daz I Kue as well as musical guests Estelle & Kardinal Offishall.

The last 3 years have created a demand for more. A space for more people, more forms of music and more than just the DJ skills of the Brooklyn Bounce duo. On July 1st, Santos Playhouse and The Brooklyn Bounce will launch GRAVITY; a metaphorical party reservoir that will demolish any outline of boringness in NYC.

True to its name, Gravity will be the underlying force that pulls together today’s heaviest underground movements. Ghetto Tech, Dub Step, Dirty Disco, Broken Beat, House & Hip Hop will live under one roof and be provided by DJs, live bands and visual artists.

It makes sense that the sons of two cities (Baltimore & Brooklyn), known world-wide for creating and cultivating musical movements that innovate and inspire the sound-scape, would take on this mission with the help of New York’s reigning center of progressive night life..
